Wilbur Richardson

Wilbur H. Richardson, 82, of Webster City, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Graceland Cemetery with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center. Wilbur Harvey Richardson, son of Theo and Goldie Urich Richardson, was born May 13, 1929 at Webster City. He graduated from Lincoln high school in Webster City. From 1948 to 1952, he served in the U.S. Army (Communications) in Korea. He farmed east of Webster City. He is survived by sister-in-law, Arris Richardson of Story City; nieces, Donna Norcross of Roland; Shirley (Bob) Moore of Texas; Beverly (Jerald) Grove of Blairsburg; Barbara Halsne of Blairsburg; Patricia (Frank) McAvoy of Ft. Dodge; nephews, Brian (Janet) Richardson of Story City; Dennis (Diane) Richardson of Webster City; several great-nieces and great- nephews; several great-great-nieces and great-great- nephews. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard and Gale Richardson; great-nephews, Jay Clouse, Paul Kramer and Todd Richardson.
