Robert Larson

Robert Larson, 80, of Webster City, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2013 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Mike Kroona officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. at the funeral home. Robert Larson, son of Lawrence and Edna Trueblood Larson was born February14, 1933 in Britt, Iowa. He received his education at the Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs. On September 27, 1958 he married June Marie Weidt in Fort Dodge. She preceded him in death on January 6, 1989. He worked at Seneca Foundry for 28 years. Robert is survived by son Paul (Heather) Larson of Webster City, grandchildren, Colby and Erin Larson; siblings, Jean (Roy) Hanshaw of Eagle Grove, Bill Larson of Fort Worth TX, Paul Larson of Carroll, IA, Ruth (Allen) Merchant Forest City, IA and Laura (Todd) Busby of St. Louis MO. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Raymond, infant twins, Jerry and Jenny and a sister-in-law, Millie Larson. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Church in Fort Dodge and the Iowa Association of the Deaf.
