Rita Jorgensen

Rita Jorgensen, 57, of Webster City, died Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Gowrie Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mike Kroona officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Tuesday. Rita Louise Shadbolt, daughter of Kenneth and Beverly Quillen Shadbolt, was born at Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School. On October 12, 1974, she married Bruce Lane Jorgensen at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City. She had been employed at Tasler's Pallet, Webster City Custom Meats, Freeman Journal, Super 8 and AmericInn. Mrs. Jorgensen is survived by her husband, Bruce; sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Mandy Jorgensen of Humboldt; David Jorgensen of Webster City; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Arthur Lloyd of Webster City; four grandchildren; sister, Joyce Shadbolt of Peoria, IL; brothers, Gary Shadbolt of Des Moines; Gene (Jill) Westre of Humboldt; mother-in-law, Gladys Jorgensen; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, LeRoy Kenneth Shadboldt and father-in-law, Virgil Jorgensen. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
