Ramona Jenks, 79, of Webster City, died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Rev Mark Eichler officiating. Burial will be held at Buckley Cemetery in Buckley, WA at a later date. Visitation will be an hour prior to service at the church. Ramona Cortez was born on July 23, 1934 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Frank and Lupe Gurrtez Cortez. She received her education in Gary, Indiana. She married Darrell Jenks in Seattle, Washington. She resided in Buckley, WA; Seattle, WA, and Webster City. She was a daycare provider. Ramona is survived by her granddaughter, Jocelyn (Brandon) Frohwein of Colo, IA; two great-grandsons, Mark and Luke Frohwein; brothers, Frank and John; and sisters, Lupe and Lola. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, a volunteer at ACE and the Webster City free clinic, a member of the Lutheran Women, The Orthopedic Guild of Pierce County in Seattle and a Girl Scout Leader. Ramona is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Leona Walker; a great-granddaughter, Arianna; and four brothers, Clemente, Thomas, Nicholas and Harry.
