Paul E. Clouse, 87, of Webster City, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Linda Bibb officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Paul Elwood Clouse, son of John and Vera Truax Clouse, was born June 12, 1924 at Yale, Iowa. He received his education from the Yale Community Schools. He served in the 232nd Division of the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. Following his discharge, Paul attended heating and air conditioning school in Newark, NJ. On February 14, 1945 he married LaNetta Dresback. To this union 3 children were born. They later divorced and he later married Eleanor Jondal until her death August 6, 2000. He was employed at Colonial Heating Service and later as owner of Paul Clouse, Heating and Air Conditioning. Paul had been in the heating and air conditioning business for over 50 years in the Webster City area. He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church; American Legion Post # 191; V. F. W. Post # 1856 - Fort Dodge. In 1947, he became a member of the Webster City Moose Lodge # 735. He received his Fellowship Degree in 1952 and the Honorable Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1984. He had served the Moose as Treasurer, Junior Governor, Governor, past governor and former administrator of the Lodge. In his retirement years his friends were one of the most important things to him and especially his Bingo Buddies. Paul is survived by son and special friend, Denny Clouse and Kris Hale of Webster City; son and spouse, Dwayne and Beth Clouse of Littleton, CO; daughter, Cheryl Rasmussen of Denver, CO; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Jay Clouse; brother, Derrold Clouse and step-father, Ray Pardekooper.
