Neal Grove, 86, of Webster City, died Friday, October 12, 2012, at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Faith United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Willer officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and prior to the service at the church. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post # 191. Neal Leroy Grove, son of Harve and Tressie Slade Grove, was born June 14, 1926 on a farm near Jewell. He received his education in a rural school near Jewell. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Army - Military Police. On December 30, 1950, he married Mary Jane Fisher at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. The couple farmed near Williams later moving to Webster City. They were later divorced. On February 12, 1991, he married Myrtle Bernice Boucher Osborne at Fort Dodge. The couple resided at Webster City. Mrs. Grove died June 3, 2009. He had resided at Southfield since He is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Roshawna and Marlo White of Popejoy; Cynthia Jane Anderson (Larry "Junior" Schultz) of Webster City; grandchildren, Rusty Grove, Shanda Bergantzel, Jerry Ford and Susan Obregon; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Brayden, Alex, Tommy and Robbie; sister, Nola (Arnie) Lovelace of Webster City; brothers, Percy Grove of Britt; Roger Grove (Ruth) of Madrid; Rex Grove (Sue) of Davenport; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; son, Troy "Grover" Grove; sisters, Cleo Fischer and Ann Lemon. Neal was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and Farm Bureau. He loved every thing to do with farming, was mild mannered and loved to dance.
