Myrna Baker, 89, of Webster City, died Monday, November 25, 2013 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Mark Eichler officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foster's one hour before the service. Myrna Mae Licht, daughter of Henry and Elsie Becker Licht, was born May 18, 1924 at Fort Dodge. She received her education in the Fort Dodge School system. On January 6, 1947, she married Jimmy Baker at Fort Dodge. The couple resided in Webster City. Myrna helped her husband with his business, Baker Construction. Mr. Baker died December 20, 1998. She is survived by nephews, Vernon Niemeyer and Norman Niemeyer and her niece, Arlene Clough. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lorna Niemeyer. She raised dogs, Jimmy and her received much enjoyment from their horses. Myrna was an accomplished artist, sharing her work with many. Myrna was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
