Millie Jenkins, 84, of Webster City, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Crestview Senior Living in Webster City. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, with Rev. George Hooper officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Millie Arlene Hutchings, daughter of Adam and Bessie Walker Hutchings, was born October 6, 1927 in Bristow, OK. She received her education in Oklahoma. On May 25, 1946, she married Elmer J. Jenkins at Bristow, OK. The family resided at Red Oak for 40 years. She babysat in her home for several years and was a seamstress. She worked at Union Carbide in Red Oak for 13 years. They moved to Webster City in 1989, then moved back to Red Oak and returned to Webster City in 2001. She resided at Windsor Manor for two years and the past few weeks at Crestview Senior Living. Mr. Jenkins died November 17, 2011. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Denise (Dee) and Stu Berns of Webster City; grandchildren, Sarah and Aimee Gauthier; Shantel (Brian) Bowman; great-grandchildren, Nicolas and Lila Bowman; Eden Gauthier; sister, Doris Jean (Bob) Hensel of Atlantic; sister-in-law, Mable McCuen of Stanton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters Majel Diann and Twyla Belle Jenkins; sister, Juanita Plum; and brothers, Cleo and Everette Hutchings.
