Mildred Anderson

Mildred Anderson, 88, of Clarion, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Holmes Baptist Church, with Pastor Zach Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the Clarion Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church. Mildred Mae Heidick, daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Segear Heidick, was born April 25, 1926 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School. On January 25, 1948, she married Norville Elmer Anderson at Fort Dodge. The couple farmed south of Clarion for 63 years, retiring in 1991. In 2011 she moved to Windsor Manor in Webster City. Mildred is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Cindy Anderson of North English; Norm and Karen Anderson of Webster City; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tom Schroder of Clarion; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister, Caroline Summers of Vincent; brother, Walley Heidick of Fresno, CA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on July 4, 2011; sister, Lillian Nessa and brother, Fredrick Heidick Mildred was a member of the Holmes Baptist Church.
