Martha Knox, 76, of Webster City, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15 at the Faith United Methodist Church, with Pastor Michael Slininger, officiating. Martha Ann Johnson, daughter of Gust and Anna Marie Anderson Johnson was born March 2, 1937 in Dayton. She graduated from Dayton High School. On February 23, 1957 she married Donald Knox at the Methodist Church in Dayton. The couple resided in Webster City. Don preceded her in death in 2006. Martha worked at Ellingson Insurance, Nadens and operated her own antique store. Martha is survived by sisters, Gladys Long of Fort Dodge and Bethene (Carlton) Schulke of Aurelia; many nieces and nephews; 7 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law. Martha was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, reading, going to antique stores, auctions and rummage sales. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Raymond Johnson and two sons in infancy, Kevin and Kyle.
