Marlene Hanson, 79, of Webster City died Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Southfield Wellness Community. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19. 2020 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
Marlene Ann Hanson, daughter of Irving and Jenny Wilson Carpenter, was born December 12, 1940 in Waterloo. She attended Waterloo High School until the 11th grade. She was united in marriage to Russell E. Hanson in Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her children, Irene Davis of Red Springs, NC, Helen Carpenter, Debbie Culbert and Robert Culbert all of Waterloo; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret, Connie, Donna and Madeline; brothers Robert and Junior along with many extended family members.
Marlene is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shirley, Sandy and brother, Ronnie.
