Luella Glaze, 95, of Webster City, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hampton Cemetery, with Pastor Bob Henkelman officiating. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Luella (Lue) Lynk, daughter of Charles and Alice Newby Lynk, was born November 16, 1916 at Eldora. She received her education at Eldora. On January 3, 1944, she married LeRoy Moore at Waterloo. The couple farmed near Hampton. Mr. Moore died July of 1948. On November 18, 1951, she married Roy Glaze at Bethany, MO. The couple resided at Ackley. She owned and operated a restaurant in Ackley. Mr. Glaze died in 1975. She had resided at Southfield Wellness Community since May of 1999. Mrs. Glaze is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Terry Arkland of Webster City; Beverly and Jerome Sandberg of Mason City; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Herb and Chester Lynk. Lue was a member of the Ackley United Methodist Church.
