Lorine Trampel

Lorine M. Trampel, 93, of Webster City, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Crestview Senior Living. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Community Church of Kamrar, with Pastor Peter Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation for Lorine will be held on Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Lorine Margaret Bly, daughter of Swen O. and Nettie (Thompson) Bly, was born August 28, 1919 in Hamilton County. She graduated from Radcliffe High School in 1937 and attended Normal training. On March 21, 1942, she was united in marriage to Lester Trampel in Hills, MN. The couple farmed east of Kamrar for 45 years, moving to Webster City in 1984. Lorine moved to Crestview Apartments in 1998. Lorine was a school teacher at Hamilton and Lyon County rural schools. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sue Trampel of Story City; daughter and son-in-law, Sherryl and Tom Hill of Surprise, AZ; 3 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 14 step great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Lorine was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Owen Bly; sisters, Ann Shelstad and Betty Larsen. Lorine enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Community Church of Kamrar and the Rebekah Womens Circle and Fellowship.
