Lois Lee

Lois Lee, 89, long time resident of Webster City, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Southfield Wellness Community. Lois was the youngest of five children born to Walter and Ann Van Doren. All four brothers preceded her in death. Lois is survived by her husband, Dean Lee and daughter, Kathy Lee Maxwell of Ames. She had two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Lois married Dean Lee in 1948. Lois was an excellent cook, avid gardener, accomplished quilter and loved to read. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center, with Rev. Jay Amundson officiating with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. with family present. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
