Larry Kennedy

Larry Kennedy, 71, of Webster City, died Monday, November 4, 2013 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9 at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center, with Pastor Matt Sprague, officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Larry Kennedy, son of Evan and Mabel Woodmansee Kennedy was born July 1, 1942 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1960. Larry was in the Iowa National Guard from 1960 to 1964. On July 1, 1967 he married Kathleen Merrill in Stratford. Larry worked at Morton Frozen Foods and Hart-Carter. He was a full time Webster City Fireman from 1971 to 1997. Larry is survived by his wife, Kathy of Webster City, sons, Darin (Melanie) Kennedy of Ulmet, Germany and Donavon Kennedy of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren; Dustin Worthen, Jason Stolle, Lea Roth, Lori Kennedy, Linus Kennedy and Henry Kennedy; brothers, Dan (Janita) Kennedy of Kearney, Missouri and Kevin (Karen) Kennedy of Sioux Falls, SD; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
