Kay Elkin

Kay Elaine Elkin, 54, of Webster City died Friday, December 13, 2013 at Van Diest Medical Center after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17 at 11:00 AM at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Terra Amundson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Kay was born in Webster City on December 26, 1958 the daughter of Don and Elaine Snyder Elkin. She attended special schools in Duncombe, Stanhope and Webster City. Kay lived at home with Don and Elaine throughout her life, enjoying their beautiful flower gardens and patio swing in the summer, Lawrence Welk and old-time music during all seasons. She has been a happy and loving person--loved by her parents who are proud of her. She is survived by her father, Don Elkin, and brothers, Dan and Randy Elkin. Her mother, Elaine, died March 19, 2013. Remembrances can be sent to Don Elkin at his home in Webster City.
