Jan Groves, 76, of Farmington Minnesota, a former longtime resident of Webster City, passed away Sunday April 30th in Burnsville Minnesota with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held Friday May 5th, 2017 at Asbury United Methodist Church at 1:30 with Reverend Jeff Flagg officiating. Visitation will begin 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be held at Washington Township Cemetery in Duncombe. Janis Lea Daniels, daughter of David and Helen Brown Daniels was born November 1, 1940 in Webster City. She received her education in the Fort Dodge and Webster City School systems graduating in 1958. She loved her job as a School Bus Driver from 1985 until her retirement in 2003. Following her retirement the couple moved to Farmington Minnesota to be near family. Harley preceded her in death in 2014. Jan was a wonderful and caring person with a great sense of humor and wit who was always bringing a smile to the faces of others. She had a fierce love for her parents, children and grandchildren and revealed her love of Christ in the way she cared for them. She was a very strong, determined woman who never let anything hold her back. She is survived by her daughters Holly Groves of Farmington, MN; Lisa (Tim Mrozek) Groves of Brooklyn Park, MN; son David Groves of Apple Valley, MN; grandchildren, Avarie (Gunnar Bestenlehner) Groves of Apple Valley, MN; Harrison Groves of Apple Valley, MN; great-grandson Orion Bestenlehner; sister Ann Edgar of Atlanta GA; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Jack and Irvin Daniels and sister, Ellie Swanson.
