Janice Phillips

Janice Phillips, 64, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Marian Home at Fort Dodge. Graveside memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the West Lawn Cemetery at Lehigh, with Rev. Richard Laird officiating. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Janice Kaye Gordon, daughter of Jay and Ella Knudson Gordon, was born August 13, 1947 at Webster City. She received her education in the Webster City school system. On August 25, 1984, she married William Richard Phillips at Randall. The couple resided at Webster City. She had been employed at Electrolux for several years. Mr. Phillips died July 31, 2004. Mrs. Phillips is survived by daughters, Tina (Gary West) Janvrin of Duncombe; Melissa Gordon of Webster City; son, Harry Janvrin of Webster City; grandchildren, Nicholas and Baylee Janvrin; Ashlynn Fortune; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronald and Logan Gordon. Janice enjoyed her time playing Bingo and especially loved time spent with her family.
